Be Loved
This very special study takes a look at the beloved disciple named John. John felt comfortable around Jesus, so he leaned against Him to ask a question. John opened his heart to Jesus and his home to Mary. He also got a better understanding of God's love when he was on the island of Patmos. John saw himself as dearly loved by Jesus. We all need to see ourselves as dearly loved. Remember, you are the apple of God's eye!
Health and Healing
In this month's study we will take a look at health and healing. We can learn many spiritual truths from natural things like food, exercise, and rest. Jesus is the Great Physician! The woman with the issue of blood knew if she could get one touch from Jesus, she would be healed. We need a daily dose of Vitamin G, which is the Word of God! God's words bring life and health to a person's whole body.
A Way in a Manger
This month's curriculum A Way in a Manger goes along with the play by the same name. A portion from the play has been included in each week's lesson. Each week we will take a look at a different part of the Christmas story. We will also see how Jesus relates to each part. Jesus learned to be a carpenter from Joseph. Jesus is known as the Good Shepherd. He is the Lamb of God, and He is the only way to heaven. God chose to send His Son as a baby in a manger. Jesus was a perfect little baby, a perfect child, a perfect teenager, and a perfect man. Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for our sins when He died on the cross.
Living Grace
In this month's study we will be looking at saving grace, strengthening grace, sharing grace, and serving grace. It is by grace we have been saved (Ephesians 4:8). God's grace also helps us live the life He has given us. His grace is there to help us every step of the way! God gives us strength to do His will. He meets our needs and helps us give joyfully to others. We can serve the Lord with gladness!
Fruit of the Spirit
When the Holy Spirit comes to live within each Christian, He brings all nine of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Each of these can grow in every believer with the help of the Holy Spirit. In this fun and practical study, we will take a look at the love and joy Paul and Silas had in prison. Jesus is our joy. He went about doing good and He was kind to people. John the Baptist was faithful to do what God wanted him to do. There is so much to learn about the fruit of the Spirit! Please look for the "fruit puppet" craft & video in week four.
