Sheep Dog
Phillip Keller had a sheep dog named Lass. She taught him many lessons during their journey together. When Lass was in her master's hands, she was able to grow into the kind of dog God had planned for her to be. We can trust and obey our Master Jesus because we know He loves us and cares for us. He is our Faithful Friend. We will find joy when we follow Him.
The Lord is My Shepherd
Jesus is our Savior and our Lord. When we say, "The Lord is my shepherd," it means the Lord Jesus takes care of us, guides us, teaches us, protects us, and shows us right from wrong. He is the Good Shepherd, and we need to follow Him. The Lord is My Shepherd is a fun curriculum that focuses on the care and management of sheep. As we learn more about a shepherd and his sheep, we will have a better understanding of how the Lord Jesus cares for us.
Growing Up In God
Growing Up In God takes us through three stages of spiritual growth: babyhood, childhood, and adulthood (grown-ups). We should celebrate growth like Abraham did when he held a great feast for his son, Isaac. Jesus learned from the teachers in the temple courts when He was just a boy. As we grow up in God, we should rely on Him more and more. The Heavenly Father loves us, and He will take care of us.
Living Water
In this month's curriculum, Living Water, we learn about eternal life. Jesus teaches Nicodemus what it means to be born again. Jesus also goes out of His way to find the woman at the well. There He teaches her about living water. Jesus cares about our spiritual life as well as our physical health. We see this in the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda. Living Water is Part Two in the study of John (Lighthouse is Part One).
Lighthouse
Light is needed for life and growth. In the Lighthouse curriculum, we take a look at how sunshine helps natural things grow. We also see how Jesus is the light of the world. All life comes from Him. God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path. We should shine like lighthouses in the darkness, so people can find their way to Jesus. Lighthouse is Part One in the study of John.
High Five
In this month's curriculum, High Five, we take a look at the five love languages. Every person has one love language that speaks to him or her the best. King David's love language, for example, was kind and loving words. God speaks all five love languages fluently, and He shows His love to us in many different ways.
God’s Healing Power
God's Healing Power is a wonderful curriculum that takes a look at God's healing anointing. In it we learn how God's healing comes to us and flows to us. We look at obstacles to receiving healing as well as how to stir up the gifts that are within us. This is a practical curriculum, especially during the winter months.
Angels
The curriculum on Angels helps bring insight into the importance of the birth of Jesus. Jesus is the reason for the season! During the next four weeks, we will look at some of the jobs that angels were created to do: praise and worship God, help people, and give messages. The Angel Gabriel brought the news of Jesus to Mary. An angel also told the shepherds about the Savior's birth. May the joy of our Lord Jesus be in your heart as you study this fun curriculum. Merry Christmas!
Thanksliving
Thanksliving teaches us how to live a life of thanksgiving every day of the year! In this curriculum we learn about having an attitude of gratitude as well as keeping a song of joy in our hearts. We shouldn't worry about things like food and clothes, because God watches over us. He has our names written on the palms of His hands!
Faith Seeds
Faith Seeds is a fun study on how faith grows in the heart. We take a look at natural planting and then learn how to apply the same principles in our spiritual lives. Several parables are discussed in this curriculum: The Parable of the Sower, The Parable of the Mustard Seed, and The Parable of the Rich Fool.
Heart and Soul
In Heart & Soul, we take a look at loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. This is the greatest commandment. The second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. Heart & Soul is Part Two in the worship study (Rock & Role is Part One).
Rock and Role
In Rock & Role, we see how Jesus is our Rock and He is our Role Model. As we understand God's worth and value to us, we will be able to worship Him better. Music is used to worship God. It also helps us express our feelings just like King David, who wrote about half of all the Psalms. Rock & Role is Part One in the worship study (Heart & Soul is Part Two).
Bonus Theme Two: Going Places
This curriculum is calledGoing Places. It is Part Two to the Genesis study. There are four weeks of lessons. Each lesson teaches something about journeys using both Old and New Testament Scriptures. The Bible stories have been taken from Genesis 24:1-42:20.
Bonus Theme One: What Are You Talking About?
The first curriculum is called What Are You Talking About? There are four weeks of lessons. Each lesson teaches something about words using both Old Testament and New Testament Scriptures. The Bible stories have been taken from Genesis 1:1-12:3.
